Xbox’s new system, Xbox One, has a lot of different features associated with it so that everyone can enjoy it. However, let’s not forget that it is a video game console and one of the best ones on the market. It’s almost eight times as powerful as it’s predecessor the Xbox 360 allowing it to have a number of incredible games that will take the already incredible video game market to the next level.

Games Being Released for Xbox One

Below are a list of the best confirmed games exclusively for Xbox One due out after the console is released in November of 2013.

Forza Motorsport 5

A new racing game that looks almost photorealistic throughout, it is being described as a video game that will redefine realistic video game racing. Which means it will do now what the game San Francisco Rush did when it first came out well over a decade ago. The cloud computing on Xbox One also features into the game but the developer has yet to specify how exactly. Guess you’ll have to play it to see.

Quantum Break

A horror-action video game that has an excellent story, Quantum Break will walk the line between a video game and a television show, giving the best of both worlds. In other words, you’ll be able to play in a cinematic environment and also sit back the world in which you are experiencing at the same time. Now that’s a truly immersive experience. This could be the first of many revolutionary crossover games coming out in the near future.

One of the most popular game franchises ever made, Halo will be coming exclusively to Xbox One because of the impressive game engine, at least according to Microsoft. While the last Halo wasn’t considered very good compared to the past games, the newest one will be directed by Stephen Spielberg and a similar cross media approach could be taken with this new version. Either way, the fans will still flock to this game, meaning Xbox One will have solidified it’s place amongst serious gamers.

A multi-player Science fiction shooter game from Infinity Ward, the team that brought everyone the Call of Duty franchise, Titanfall has the chance to take the first person shooter game to the next level as well pon the Xbox One console. The game features giant mechanical beasts known as Titans and makes constant use of the Xbox One cloud. When you fight in the game you can be in a Titan or on the ground, mano y robot. Which is basically what you are doing when playing a video game in general.

Sunset Overdrive

A colorful new shooter game, Sunset Overdrive is a cartoon with guns and mutants and a hero flipping running and fighting his way through a near future city. It all looks like a lot of violent fun with new types of weapons and monsters. It’s from the company Fuse, who did the fun but tiring zombie game series Left For Dead and while this one might suffer the same fate in the long run, it will undoubtedly be incredibly fun to play for a few weeks or every so often.

Killer Instinct

An awesome fighting game that looks over the top in its new incarnation on the Xbox One system, the game will be free to play for everyone who owns a console. Classic players from the old game will be present in this new version, but everything will be in brand new spanking 3D. There will obviously also be new moves and vengeful attacks, making an old game truly feel new on the new system.

d4 dark dreams

A small video game that has potential to be a sleeper hit in the style of a nourish episodic mystery. It’s the story of a detective with the ability to turn back time in order to solve his wife’s murder and ultimately prevent it. The visuals are incredibly artistic and unique and should be a nice change of pace from all the other Xbox One games out there.
