We recommend buying the one from Amazon.com here for $39.99.

We did a little unboxing so you can see exactly that the product on Amazon comes with.
It includes the wireless adapter (30-foot range), two double AA batteries, the controller and an instruction manual.

Under the control panel, under devices and printers you should now see your Xbox 360 Wireless Controller and the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows. You are now ready to game!
With FPS games the controller on the PC works great right out of the box. If you are playing other games, for example, we play Guild Wars 2 with a controller. For this you will want some modifications and programming of the buttons. We highly recommend Xpadder. http://www.xpadder.com/. It costs $9.99 but it is worth every penny if you need to customize your controls. Later on we will be posting our GW2 Xpadder profiles for you to download and try yourself!
