Re-Enabling a Disabled Plugin in Microsoft Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013


This is a short tutorial on how to re-enable a disabled plugin in Microsoft Outlook 2007, Microsoft Outlook 2010, and Microsoft Outlook 2013. Plugins can sometimes get disabled for a variety of reasons. Especially the Microsoft CRM plugin.

Microsoft Outlook 2007 – Disabled Plugin

Step 1

In Outlook, go up to the Help Menu and click on “Disabled Items…”

Step 2

In the menu you should see the name of your plugin or the file associated with the name of the plugin. Select it and then click “Enable.”

Step 3

Now close Microsoft Outlook, and re-open it. Your plugin is now enabled.

Microsoft Outlook 2010 – Disabled Plugin

Step 1

In Outlook go up to the file menu and click into “Options.”

On the left hand side select “Add-ins” and then under the drop down box next to manage make sure it is selected on “Disabled Items” and click Go.

Step 3

In the menu you should see the name of your plugin or the file associated with the name of the plugin. Select it and then click “Enable.”

Now close Microsoft Outlook, and re-open it. Your plugin is now enabled.

Step 1

In Outlook go up to the file menu and click into “Options.”
