Disable IE9 “Running Security Scan.”

Below are instructions on how to disable IE9′s security scanning feature. I personally would rather let my anti-virus software do it’s work and not have my browser stall when trying to install simple programs that I have downloaded.

Unfortunately this only worked with IE9 beta and no longer works. If someone has figured out how to disable the security scan, please post below. Thank you

Step 1

Click Tools and then Internet Options.

Step 2

Click on the “Security” tab, then “Custom”, scroll down and click “enable” under “Display Mixed Content.”

Step 3

Click on “OK” and then “OK.”
